About KSA

The original owners created the KSA brand in Noosaville Queensland to fill a growing need in the market for clothing specific to the sport of kiteboarding/kitesurfing.

Today we are taking that even further to ensure that KSA designs provide innovative products which suit male and female riders alike.

Our mission is simple, to provide kite specific clothing both in graphic design and in functionality for all riders accross a broad range of ages.

We decided when we took over the label to bring it back to its Australian origins.  “The authenic Australian Kitesurf Clothing Co” represents the origins of kitesurfing in Australia and this is reflected in the grahics, styling and heart of our label.  We thought long and hard about the fact that KSAdesigns is manufactured overseas.  We considered Autralian manufacturing, however there are very few Australian textiles manufacturers left and even less who would help out a little niche market label like ours.  After visiting the production company and seeing the positive effect of our economic input into the region we decided this was the most ethical & socially responsible coarse to take.  KSAdesigns is manufactured in an outlying village in Bali and helps to build up the economic viability of the community there.  The little workshop is of a good standard and the workers are all very happy with children cared for onsite so that the mums can work and earn additional income for their families.   The atmosphere is very relaxed as Bali can be and the product reflects that handmade and handcrafted feel.
