The opening was attended by the local councillor, the team from Liquid Force along with many of Padi’s regular customers & team riders.

Geoff has joined Padi as his business parnter in the opening of the kiteshop which will have two guest rooms for anyone visiting on a kitesurfing training package.

Australia’s first kitesurf clothing company and arguably the first in the world to start a kitesurf specific clothing range, KSA designs have been developing their range over many years.

Kitesurfing and kiteboarding as it was originally known has undergone many changes over the years, not the least being its availability to people of all ages and fitness levels.  Men, women and even young children now enjoy this fantastic sport regularly.

With the return of KSA designs to its home in Noosa at Adventure Sports Kitesurf Australia earlier this year, the product has undergone further changes with the influence of a family of kiteboarders aging from 9 - 40.  With this in mind the women’s range has been extended and the introduction of youth sizing has been added.

KSAdesigns together with Adventure Sports Kitesurf Australia will host the 2009 Coolum Kite Festival “Off the Lip Classic”.

Events will include the traditional 15km Downwinder along with relay races, land boarding, wave riding and or freestyle expression sessions.

The Downwinder will have two divisions - One for the serious podium contenders and one division for recreational kiters who want to cruise and enjoy the opportunity to kite with up to 100 kiters.

With the recent return of the KSAdesigns label to its origins with Kitesurf Australia in Noosa we have taken the opportunity to re-focus the brand.  The introduction of this new website is to make sure we are not simply a place to shop for your kitesurf clothing, but we are a source of information, articles and updates about kitesurf clothing along with the overall sport of kitesurfing.

We also heard your feedback about the old site and realise the website was difficult to navigate around. Most importantly we wish to support our retailers and make sure you know exactly where you can touch, try and buy the gear from your local retail store, so check out the store locator.  If you can’t get to a local outlet, then we have maintained our buy online shop for your convenience.
